Once, the Gradierhaus of Bad Reichenhall was used for salt production. Today, the outdoor inhalatory attracts people who want to breathe deeply. Literally. Located in the middle of the royal spa garden, it is an oasis in the city.
The Gradierhaus is a 160 meter long building. Covered walkways lead around grading walls that run through the entire longitudinal axis. The walls are stately 13 meters high and consist of stacked blackthorn branches (sloe).
